AHC Award at the 7th World FUE Institute Workshop 2024

Dr. Vekris was awarded for the studies he presented as well as for his long and successful career in the field of hair transplantation.

The 7th International World FUE Institute Workshop held in Casablanca, Morocco from May 16-18 was attended by the internationally renowned Plastic Surgeon Dr. Anastasios Vekris, founder of Advanced Hair Clinics and Director of Cosmetic Derma Medicine Medical Group, and Dr. Amalia Tsiatoura, Dermatologist-Aphrodisiologist and Scientific Director of Cosmetic Derma Medicine. This international conference is a unique event that brings together a multitude of plastic surgeons, with prominent participants updating on developments in FUE, performing live surgeries and hands-on sessions, and presenting educational videos and studies.

At the conference, Dr. Vekris presented two important studies on techniques in hair transplantation. His study titled “Sharp Implanters in Hair Transplantation” focused on the importance of choosing state-of-the-art medical instruments and how their proper use can contribute to the desired outcome.

His second study, titled “Scar Reconstruction With FUE Hair Transplantation” focused on a topic that as an expert in the FUE technique Dr. Vekris has received international recognition: the use of the FUE technique for scar reconstruction from injuries, burns or previous FUT transplants.

The conference concluded with Dr. Vekris being awarded as a Faculty Member of the Workshop, an award that was related to his interesting presentations and his continued presence as a plastic surgeon and educator in the field of hair transplantation with the FUE technique.
