Dr. Anastasios Vekris invited as a speaker at the IAAPS Online Aesthetic Surgery Course 2

Dr. Anastasios Vekris, Plastic Surgeon & Member of ISHRS was invited as a speaker at the Online Aesthetic Surgery Course 2 of the INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF AESTHETIC PLASTIC SURGEONS (IAAPS) that took place online the weekend 27-28 of November 2021.

Dr. Anastasios Vekris, among renowned Physicians from around the world, was invited to share his knowledge, scientific research and results on the effectiveness of PRP treatment, presenting the topic “PRP – Demystifying the hype”. He analyzed how PRP treatment can help reduce hair loss, prevent its occurrence, and stimulate hair follicles that are on the path of degeneration. He also presented real patients’ results after PRP treatments at Advanced Hair Clinics, focusing on the case of twin children suffering from alopecia areata from the tender age of 5 years old and how PRP treatment helped the hair regrowth.

Finally, Dr. Vekris also discussed the use of PRP for skin rejuvenation, especially for the treatment of fine lines, wrinkles, scars and marks.
