MD Dimitris Alexandris

Dr. Dimitrios Alexandris is a physician awaiting a residency position in Dermatology and Venereology at the “Andreas Syggros” Hospital for Skin and Venereal Diseases. He holds two Master’s degrees: one in Dermoscopy from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and another in “Neoplastic Disease in Humans – Research and Clinicopathological Approach” from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).

He completed his military service in the Hellenic Air Force and graduated from the Medical School of the University of Crete. He holds ATLS and ALS certifications, has completed online courses by the EADV, and has participated in seminars and workshops in Greece and abroad.

He is a member of the Athens Medical Association, the Hellenic Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Laser and Aesthetic Dermatology, EADV, EADO, and IDS. He works as a physician at Advanced Hair Clinics and has previous experience in aesthetic medicine clinics and public healthcare structures. He has presented scientific papers at conferences and published articles in international journals.

He collaborates with the Oncology Department of Evangelismos General Hospital on the study of dermatologic adverse events from oncologic medications and teaches related topics in the NKUA postgraduate program. He has attended numerous scientific conferences in Greece and internationally. He speaks English, Italian, and German, and has also been involved in social and volunteer work.
