Dr. Anastasios Vekris<\/a> was invited as a Medical Speaker to the leading international conference on hair transplantation, where he delivered two significant scientific presentations to the physicians attending the 32nd ISHRS 2024<\/a> in Denver, USA, from October 17 to 19.<\/p>\n

The ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery) conference is the premier scientific gathering of renowned physicians from around the globe involved in hair transplantation and restoration. Attendees have the opportunity to learn about innovative techniques and receive the latest information from distinguished scientists worldwide.<\/p>\n

At the 32nd ISHRS in Denver, in addition to Dr. Vekris, Dr. Amalia Tsiatoura<\/a>, Dermatologist and Scientific Director of CDM Medical Group, and Dr. Antonia Andriopoulou<\/a>, Hair Surgery Specialist and Associate Medical Director of Advanced Hair Clinics, were also in attendance.<\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n \n \n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

During the conference, Dr. Anastasios Vekris<\/a>\u2014the only speaker from Greece\u2014addressed two highly relevant topics concerning advancements in hair transplantation techniques.<\/p>\n

In his first presentation, titled “Mega Cases Optimizing Graft Survival Rate,”<\/strong> Dr. Vekris, MD, Plastic Surgeon, Member of ISHRS, and founder of Advanced Hair Clinics<\/a>, discussed the technique of mega-sessions, which allows for the transplantation of over 4,000 hair follicles in a single session. He explained the benefits and requirements for a successful multi-thousand hair follicle implantation session, concluding with an engaging Q&A and discussion among the delegates.<\/p>\n

Dr. Vekris’s second presentation, titled “Planning the Distribution of Follicular Units,”<\/strong> focused on the crucial step of planning the distribution of hair follicles for a successful hair transplant. He reviewed essential principles and detailed the best methodologies for optimal coverage tailored to individual cases.<\/p>\n

In addition to his presentations, Dr. Vekris served as a Table Leader in the workshop titled “Different Types of Implanters,”<\/strong> where he analyzed and demonstrated the practical use of various implanters during hair transplantation.
