Dermatologist \u2013 Venereologist Dr. Amalia Tsiatoura<\/strong>\u00a0is among the leading doctors of her specialty worldwide. Her constant participation in international conferences as a guest speaker and where she presents her studies has rightfully secured her the leadership in innovative treatments of Aesthetic Medicine for face and body.<\/em><\/p>\n

Dr. Amalia Tsiatoura consistently participates in Hands-On Workshops as one of the few trainers of younger dermatologists and plastic surgeons in our country on application techniques and innovative materials in Aesthetic Medicine.<\/em><\/p>\n

Dr. Amalia Tsiatoura<\/strong> is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Ioannina and received her degree with a grade of \u201bEXCELLENT\u2019. She has worked for many years in the departments of Pathology and Anatomical Pathology at the University Hospital of Ioannina and completed her specialisation in dermatology-venereology at the largest Dermatology Hospital of Greece, the \u201bAndreas Syggros\u2019 Hospital of Cutaneous & Venereal Diseases, where she held the position of research assistant in the Peeling-Hyperhidrosis and Psoriasis Departments for many years as a specialised dermatologist and venereologist.\u00a0She completed her postgraduate studies in Aesthetic Dermatology and Laser on scholarship at the\u00a0University of Colorado Hospital, in Denver, Colorado, USA.<\/p>\n

She is considered as one of the leading experts in aesthetic laser applications in Greece and Europe. She ranks among the founders of the\u00a0Cosmetic Derma Medicine Medical Group, where she holds the position of Scientific Director of the Department of Dermatology-Venereology and laser applications. She is also a research associate at\u00a0Advanced Hair Clinics\u00a0as expert dermatologist for conservative treatments of hair loss.<\/p>\n

She is an expert in Dermal Oncology and methods for dermoscopy and mole mapping, having completed extended training at the Dermatology Department of the University of Graz, Austria. Her PhD thesis is entitled: \u201cImmunohistochemical study of angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis in basal cell and squamous cell skin carcinoma and precancerous skin lesions. Correlation with clinical parameters\u201d. She has also participated as \u201binvestigator\u2019 in many research protocols and clinical studies on psoriasis and other dermatological diseases.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Amalia Tsiatoura\u00a0has published articles in many renowned international and Greek scientific journals and has been invited to participate as a speaker and moderator at numerous international and nationwide conferences on various subjects of clinical and aesthetic dermatology, such as hair loss, warts, acne, laser applications etc. She has published articles in daily newspapers and numerous magazines and has participated as a guest on many TV shows of medical interest.<\/p>\n

During and after her specialisation, she has been honoured with several awards for the publication of her scientific papers at conferences, and in 2009 she was rewarded with a special scholarship in memory of Prof. I.D. Stratigos by the 3rd Clinic of the \u201bA. Syngros\u2019 Hospital.<\/p>\n

She is married and mother of 3 children.<\/p>\n

Dr. Tsiatoura actively participates and enriches with her scientific research the knowledge presented in important international conferences.<\/a>\u00a0Since 2012, when she opened the first clinic in Athens, she has been a constant presence in the scientific scene, representing the medical community of our country.
\nFrom the World Congress of Medical Aesthetics & Anti-Aging \u2013 AMWC in Monaco and the World Congress of Aesthetic Surgery \u2013 IMCAS in Paris to the European Congress of Dermatology of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) in Madrid in 2019 and from the World Congress of the Face Aesthetic Dermatologists Society in 2023 in Goa, India to the Starwarts of Dermatology Congress (SODC) in 2024 in Mumbai, Dr. Tsiat\u03bfura never stops updating, informing and guiding developments in her field.<\/p>\n
