Dermatologist \u2013 Venereologist Dr. Sevasti Afantenou<\/strong>\u00a0is currently one of the leading dermatologists in Greece and has excellent knowledge of Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine.<\/em><\/p>\n

In recent years, Dr. Afantenou has been a trainer in workshops on the application of botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid, mesotherepsis, boosters and other Aesthetic Medicine applications.<\/em><\/p>\n

Dr. Sevasti Afantenou<\/strong>\u00a0is a qualified Dermatologist \u2013 Venereologist. She studied at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), where she graduated in 2003 with a \u201cexcellent\u201d degree. Subsequently, within the framework of her specialization, she worked at the General Hospital of Rhodes in the Department of Pathology and then completed her specialization at the University Hospital of Dermatological and Venereal Diseases A. Syngros, where she passed her specialty examinations with distinction. As part of her residency at the Andreas Syngros Hospital she was a member of the Department of Autoimmune Diseases and participated in phase II and III clinical trials for Lupus Erythematosus, Psoriasis and diaphoretic sweating sickness. After residency examinations, he received a fellowship for clinical training at the Department of Dermatology at the University of Chicago. After completing his residency and for 4 years he was an Academic Fellow \u2013 Research Associate at the Department of Stomatology, Andreas Syngros Hospital where he specialized in oral mucosal diseases and autoimmune pomophilic diseases. As part of her work in the Stomatology Department she participated in the training of students, dermatology residents, dermatology residents, dermatologists, dermatologists, dentists and ENT residents. She has received scholarships to attend oncology conferences and a scholarship from the Hellenic and Dermatological Society for postgraduate training in dermatoscopy in Graz, Austria.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Afantenou has participated as an author in the writing of the Antoniou-Katsampas Book of Dermatology and Venereal Dermatology, in the chapters on Cutaneous Erythematous Lupus and Herpetoid Dermatitis.<\/p>\n

She has served as Reviewer-Reviewer in European Academy of Dermatology-Venereology Pan-European Conferences and in prestigious international dermatology journals such as the International Journal of Dermatology.<\/p>\n

She has participated as an invited speaker in conferences of the Hellenic Society of Dermatology and Venereology (EDAE) , in European Conferences of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) and in Global Conferences such as the American Academy of Dermatology Venereology (AAD) , IMCAS and AMWC.<\/p>\n

Dr. Afantenou has also presented numerous papers in the form of e posters at national, European and international conferences.<\/p>\n

She holds a Master\u2019s Degree in International Medicine and Health Crisis Management from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with Honors, while after her graduation she participated in the training of new students of the postgraduate program and is a PhD candidate at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens on the topic of Autoimmune Pompholygous Diseases.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
