DERMATOLOGIST Petros Antypas

Dr. Petros Antypas graduated from the Comenius University Faculty of Medicine in Bratislava in 2013 and began his professional career in 2014 as a rural physician at the Skoutaros Regional Medical Center on the island of Lesvos. For 1.5 years, he provided primary healthcare services, managing a wide range of medical cases and gaining valuable experience in the prompt management of emergency situations.

Subsequently, from 2015 to 2016, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the “Vostanio” General Hospital of Mytilene. From 2016 to 2017, he fulfilled his military service as a unit physician in the Hellenic Army, serving at the 98th National Guard Battalions Command (98 TYEΘ) in Mytilene. Between 2017 and 2019, he worked as a rural physician at the Regional Medical Centers of Akrasio and Skopelos on the island of Lesvos, providing primary healthcare services to local communities.

In 2019, he began his residency in Dermatology and Venereology at the University General Hospital of Patras, which he successfully completed in 2022, earning the title of specialist dermatologist. Throughout his residency, he was actively involved in outpatient clinics, emergency departments, and the hospital’s dermatology ward, refining his expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of dermatological and venereal diseases.

As part of his ongoing medical education, he participated in numerous conferences and training programs in Dermatology and Venereology, staying up to date with the latest advancements and modern therapeutic approaches. From 2022 to 2024, he continued working at the University General Hospital of Patras, further enhancing his clinical experience and implementing contemporary dermatological practices to provide high-quality medical care to his patients.
